Little green steps towards Better environment:

It will be a grave threat to the earth due to global warming hence maintain eco-friendly environment in and around our premises we must plant a trees under massive plantation program in rainy season.

Change is the need of the hour, but most of the developmental activities like mega construction activities, factories, airports, residential projects etc have affected nature in a negative way. So it is a high time that we think about saving environment to saving ourselves  .It is important to adopt eco-friendly development measures and baring about growth and development that doesn’t blemish the environment. The greenery inside society premises is a natural habitat for several species of rare local and migrating birds too. Trees alter the environment by moderating climate like air quality will be improved by the trees, water conservation is happens.Cliamate control is obtained by moderating the effect of sun, wind and Rain. Radiant energy by sun is absorbed by leaves of tree. Wind speed and direction is affected by Tree. By planting trees we return to more natural and less artificial environment. Temperature in the vicinity of the trees is cooler than that away from trees. The larger the tree the larger the cooling

Putting such things in a mind our Anandvastu society committee members decided to plan a plantation program in and around the society areas. We were planted various types of plants in Month of July ,some of them was Chafa(temple tree), Amba( Mango), Narial (Coconut), Anjir( Atrgir ), Dalimb – (pomegranate),Chiku( Naseberry Mudapple),Ratarani (Cestrum nocturnum),Amala – (indian gooseberry),Limbu (Lemon),Jaswand (hibiscus flower) , niligul mohar( Jacuranda),Tamhan (Queen’s flower) Katdhipatta (curry leaf) and so on. We selected the plants such that they were commonly used and useful for the daily usage like flowers, leaves and fruits.

During the plantation activity our senior members of society teaches the junior ones and kids the names importance and usage of the plant they planted and also explained about the importance of tree plantation activity. Even our committee staff also taught us how to plant them and then they watered the plants. The helpers told us different thing about the plant, their uses etc. At the end of this activity there was a photo session with all members and participants as an good memorable activity to encourage others.. Our society neighbors appreciated the efforts of the members of the plantation team and advised them to continue working with full commitment to participate in other locations too as a social activity. After few days later in our village the Gram panchayat announced the same and the members participated in the same.

 

 

Avoid Garbage:
In our day t day life , we always used to have fruits for diet . when we have fruits with seeds do not throw them in garbage but keep in the separate place dried them in sunlight. After complete drying


we can plant a tree wherever required by that seeds only.


Reduce CO2 emission by seeds - How?


During travelling or visiting to any other place we can throw that seeds in wet soil  , so this will  directly helps to transforms into plant after few days.
This procedure will be  acts as a parallel way to plantation also time saving and with less expensive.
Those who don't have time to plant a tree , can easily adopt this method.


Plant a more trees in less expensive way


Those who wish to plant a more trees in less expensive way for them we have a simple method to adopt as below:
They directly choose which trees they wish to plant more. (Based on their beauty appearance)
1) Collect the seeds directly from that tree ( in case they only have a seeds)
Example NIM is a ayurvedic plant we can collect their seeds directly.


2) If the tree having seeds inside the fruit then can run a campaign to collect the seeds from people as they really through these seeds in garbage.
Example We can collect the Mango , Orange , and others seeds via this campaign with some    nominal return value or as a social/environmental activity


Such seeds then plant as per above described way..

I think you will follow the same way as this is easier than direct tree plantation.
